The 5 Most Beautiful Cities in Alicante

The city of Alicante is one of the most complete to travel around the Mediterranean coast. From its charming villages, monuments of its cities to its pure nature, it is what you will find in this wonderful province bathed by the Mediterranean Sea.

1.Torrevieja

If you want to relax, I recommend you visit the Water Mill Park. This park is next to the beach of La Mata and constitutes an important pine forest whose subsoil existed a freshwater aquifer.

The coast of Torrevieja has numerous coves and beaches that you cannot miss in your visit to Torrevieja. Some of the beautiful beaches of Torrevieja are Cala del Moro, del Mojón, de la Zorra, de la Higuera, and Redonda, but there are many more.

2.Elche

This city has three world heritage sites and is currently the only place in the world where the white palm craft is still made.

El Palmeral: the cultural landscape of exceptional value and universal significance. It is a living cultural legacy of Al-Andalus and constitutes an extraordinary exponent of sustainability in the agricultural development of fragile ecosystems.

3.Altea

It is one of the most beautiful villages in the province of Alicante. This peculiar place is located right in front of the sea, and thanks to its white houses and narrow streets, it maintains its coastal town style.

It has several viewpoints from where you can take great photos of the coast and bars decorated with style and personality to eat.

4.Guadalest

Guadalest is a municipality near Benidorm and is built on top of a rock. It is a very tourist town thanks to its great charm; it has several museums and a castle in the highest part that you can access. From the viewpoint above, you can enjoy wonderful views of the Guadalest reservoir whose waters have a turquoise color, spectacular!

5.Villena

This town of Alicante has two treasures that I recommend you know if you are going to be in the province of Alicante. When you arrive in Villena, I recommend you to start with its Castle of Arab origin, known as the Watchtower Castle, and then get to know the Treasure of Villena, which is one of the most important archaeological finds of the Bronze Age in all of Europe.
